Tasting:The name of this blend "Cauquenina" is the name given to a woman from Cauquenes and the Clos de Fous team feel this wine has a very feminine quality to it. A unique and interesting nose full of spice and savory herbs. The palate has very soft red fruits with some tannic structure and a lot of minerality.

IWC: 94 (Suckling)
A fascinating handmade wine with so much earth and spice aromas and flavors. Full body, light tannins and a rich and flavorful finish. So much going on here. Made from bought grapes from small growers mostly in the Caquenes region. Old head pruned vines. Pais, cinsult, carignan, malbec, syrah, portugais bleu. Soulful. Drink now.
