Tasting:Similar blend as the Ultradition Brut, but held one year longer en-tirage before disgorgement, and is dosed at 4.5 gr/l. The label is a replica of an original label used by the family in the early days of estate bottling. It is a bit racier and taughter than the regular Brut, and would make a fine aperitif as well, or even paired with oysters or shellfish.

The NV Extra Brut Ultradition is a gorgeous wine at its level, and also a terrific introduction to the Laherte Champagnes. Translucent and energetic, the Ultradition has a lot to offer. Pear, almond and dried flowers meld together as this creamy, ample Champagne shows off its distinctive personality. The flavors are brilliant and chiseled throughout. What a gorgeous wine this is. The Ultradition is based on Meunier (unusual for a NV Champagne), with 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir. Disgorged: January 2017. Dosage is 4.5 grams per liter.
