Orientation:East/Southeast
Soil:Clay and Kimmerdigian Limestone bands similar to those found in Chablis. The Cotes des Bar is closer in proximity to Chablis than to Epernay.
Viticulture:Farmed biodynamically and hand harvested.
Vinification:Fermented in used barriques using natural yeasts
Aging:Aged in used barriques and bottled with no dosage Disgorgement: April 2017
Production:Very limited
Tasting:Remeniscent of Chablis with bubbles, this Blanc de Blanc is full, yet chiseled with unreal mineral character.

Tension and energy are the signatures of the 2013 Extra Brut Eloquence. The expression of Chardonnay takes on Chablis-like dimensions, with bright, saline-infused underpinnings that give the wine its shape and overall personality. Today, the Eloquence is the most angular and reticent of these wines. Another few years in bottle can only help. Disgorged in April 2017 with no dosage.
