Full medium red. Redcurrant and darker berries on the nose, complicated by spices, herbs, menthol, pepper and leather. Surprisingly supple and sweet on the palate, with rich red berry and spice flavors enlivened by savory minerality. Dusty tannins are nicely supported by the wine's fruits and spices. Finishes with very good length. Has the sweetness for relatively early drinkability but enough structure for mid-term aging.
