From a combination of select estate vineyards each with a different and unique microclimate. Estate vineyards range from 40 years old to over 60.
The average elevation of the vineyards is 700 - 900 meters
practicing organic and biodynamic. all vineyard work is done by hand.
Some whole cluster fermentation. The various vineyards are fermented in concrete, old wood or stainless steel based on the qualities of the site. No fining and no filtering.
Aged in used French barrique, 500 liter barrels, concrete and stainless depending on the site.
The 2014 Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva had notes of cherries in liqueur and Mediterranean herbs, and it was showing some development and a touch more ripeness than the 2015. The palate also shows a little warmth, as it has one full degree more alcohol than the 2015. 23,000 bottles produced.
