Vineyard: Vineyards are located between Bordeaux and Libourne, on a plateau overlooking the Dordogne River
Soil: Sandy clay limestone with rocky subsoil. Good drainage
Viticulture: A good, sunny exposure and meticulous canopy management ensure that the vines grow and grapes ripen evenly.
Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed at a low pressure. The juice is then cooled to allow the lees to fall and deposit. It is then fermented at 62-64 degrees Fahrenheit (17-18 C), an essential range for obtaining a fresh and fruity wine.
Aging: The wine is aged on its fine lees in tank until March, then bottled in late March/early April.
Production: 3500 cases produced annually
Notes: This semillon dominant blend is an excellent value in white bordeaux, brimming with citurs and floral notes and a lovely roundness on the palate.
