Multiple parcels, varied exposure
Clay-limestone and gravelly soils

Fermentations are cool and gentle to obtain a smooth, easy-drinking wine with soft, integrated tannins.
Aged in French oak, 30% of which is new, for 12 months in underground limestone cellars build in the 17th century.
A big step up in power and concentration, Lamothe's premiere cuvee has dark fruity aromas followed by spice and real depth on the palate. This is complex and layered wine that will reveal itself beautifully over 8-10 years.
