Vineyard: Grapes are harvested from select parcels within the Grand Cru of Les Mesnil-sur-Oger. Average of 30 year old vines.

Vinification: 100% 2014; fermentation takes place in stainless steel using natural yeasts. 100% malolactic.
Aging: Aged in stainless steel. Bottled and allowed to age on the lees for a minimum of 3 years before disgorgement, then aged an additional 3 months. 3.5 gr/l dosage (excatly half of the Brut NV)
Production: about 4,000 cases
Notes: Made from 100% Gand Cru Le Mesnil fruit, this Extra Brut is the same wine as the flagship Blanc de Blancs but with exactly half the amount of dosage (3.5 gr/l vs 7 gr/l). It is full yet racy and is always an unreal value. Disgorgement: March 2017
A powerful, explosive Champagne, the NV (2014) Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Delos hits the palate with serious intensity and textural richness. The lower dosage vis-à-vis the Brut version shows the more ample, broad-shouldered side of the Delos. All the flavors and textures are amped up in a vivid, vibrant Champagne that will drink well upon release. Ultimately, the differences between the Extra Brut and Brut versions of the Delos are more stylistic than qualitative. Disgorged: March 2017. Dosage is 3.5 grams per liter.
