The 3 acre Will's Cabin is a northernly facing vineyard that is very cool and see a good amount of marine influence. The vines are planted at an elevation of 2250'-3000'. The vineyard is planted to Mt. Eden and Swan clones of Pinot Noir

10-20% whole cluster, cold soaked for 5-8 days and fermented using all native yeasts.
14 months in French oak with only a small percentage being new.
Wine Enthusiast - This wine's incredibly distinct nose of pure fruit shows plump raspberries alongside delicate grapeseed, a pinch of baking spice and a whiff of yeast. Though the wine is light in color and frame, the palate shows lots of earth, tobacco smoke, cherry pits, bouquet garni and rosemary, with refreshing wild berry fruit.
Orange rind, rose petal and dark red stone fruits are some of the many notes that are woven together in the 2012 Pinot Noir Will's Cabin Vineyard. Here, too, it is the wine's understated density and power that stand out most, all within a framework of total finesse. Layers of fruit continue to open up through to an ample, broad finish built on pure class. Will's Cabin emerges from a parcel planted in 2002 with Mt. Eden and Swan clone Pinot. Although already quite open, the 2012 will blossom with another few years in bottle.
