Vineyard: All the plots are from the originals planted by the family in the late 1800's in the villages of Corgomo and Portela. These are the oldest Godello vines in the world. The vines are managed in accordance with conservation and circadian rhythms.
Orientation: South facing slopes on the northern banks of the Sil river at an average of 300 meters in elevation.
Soil: Colluvial with shallow depth and derived from grey schist.
Viticulture: All vineyard work is done by hand in small plots. They work the soil naturally and do work in the vineyard based on circadian rhythms.
Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and crushed. The juice stays in contact with the skins for 6 hours before being pressed. The fermenation takes place in stainless steel with wild yeasts.
Aging: The wine ages in tank on the lees for 6 months with weekly stirrings. After maturation the two villages are then blended together.
