Combination of stainless steel (for Frappato) and oak (for Nero d'Avola) for 12 months, and an additional nine months in bottle.
Cerasuolo di Vittoria was one of the first Sicilian wines to attain DOC status, which it was awarded in 1973.
Creamy and layered, offering baked black raspberry and fig flavors and accents of anise, dried thyme and mineral. This is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with light tannins and a fragrant finish. Drink now through 2023. 8,333 cases made.—A.N.
Here is a red with pretty raspberry and floral components to the nose. Medium body, integrated tannins and a fine finish. It's all about finesse here. Drink now or hold.
Good full ruby-red. Raspberry, dark cherry and sassafras, with hints of violet and smoke. Fleshy and smooth in texture, offering spicy dark berry, cocoa and balsamic oil flavors. Finishes slightly chunky, with very good length.
