A lightly spiced nero d'avola with notes of blackberries, licorice and some crushed violets. Full body, round tannins and a fruity finish. Sour cherry flavors, too. Drink now. - James Suckling
Dark red. Perfumed scents of black cherry, violet, licorice and cardamom, with a tarry nuance adding complexity. Sappy, penetrating and expansive on the palate, offering densely packed but light on their feet dark fruit flavors. A big, rich wine that features smooth tannins and lingering violet perfume on the long finish. This is really quite good and so well balanced you can’t really tell it has 14% alcohol.
