Sourced from three vineyards: Breclema, Carella, and Valera.
South, southeast. 280-310m in elevation.
Soil is made up of moraine (glacial deposit) which is high in minerals, rocks, gravel and sand.
Hand harvested. Guyot pruning.
After one night of skin contact the juice is separated from the skins followed by a temperature-controlled, slow fermentation.
80,000 bottles produced.
Pale pink. Oatmeal, strawberry jelly, sweet spices and herbs. Finishes with a candied quality and a hint of residual sweetness that may not appeal to everyone and that lowers my score. I like my Rosati slightly drier than this.
